Hey thanks for the help! I recently just upgraded to Maya 2014. The only plugins that I have installed are the ones that auto-loaded by default.... In terms of the objects history, yeah it is all cleared! I have several lamberts on it.... but thats about it. I still haven't found a way around this issue. :poly127: -

Made this sandbag wall before I know how to bake. Went back to day and tried it on one of the bag. Note that the baked sandbag uv was made really quick just for testing, same goes for the texture. Will be remaking this sandbag wall model :) The regulare sandbag contains 104 Tris compared to the 128 baked. -
Re: AWAITING CONFIRMATION: Suite Broken since 1.8
I am running Adobe PhotoShop CC 2014 as of the latest update with Quixel SUITE 1.8, on Windows 8.1. The application simply stops working (with an error message stating exactly that). I can launch my stand alone licenses of dDo and NDo. 2 but not Quixel SUITE. Thanks for your support in advance. -

Wow I haven't updated this thread in awhile. Figured I'd post the progress on my spring 2014 submission; I wanted to show in-game shots but the importer is still broke hah. Only a few days left in the contest, I gotta pick up the pace if I want to finish everything on time. -
Re: 3ds Max: edge extrude with local pivot
That seemed to be broken for me as well in 2014. My fix was to just extrude it a very small amount in world space, then I was able to use local to extend it out further...Crappy for sure. I also ran into issues with my Gizmo becoming "distorted". Local extrude is working as intended in Max 2015, though! -

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if there is any sort of template for Unity.. something like a sphere and a plane and then replace materials with my own. I am sure I can nut it out, just not sure if they run with a base project or something to use. The render in that pic is just from the Max viewport (2014) -

Hmm, I made that action back in like 2014 so it could be that there have been changes in photoshop that throw some conflict. Still, it's pretty basic. Select a layer, ctrl+click it to make a selection of all the pixels in it, delete it, and then make a fill layer with the same name and color. And just repeat that for all… -
