Time-honored system is 3 copies of your important data: 2 copies onsite + 1 copy in the cloud (or at a friend's house). I've lost data, and it's painful. Im still getting the same problem with meshes in UDK. Its hard to replicate the error because it seems completely random, I cant tell why some have the problem, and others dont, and thats after comparing "good" UV maps with problem ones. Hopefully Im not the only one who's faced this issue, Im at a loss here... -

Watch out for the cloudiness in your textures, try and study a metal texture more closely and replicate it using photoshop with going over the top. rice cookers are awesome, you can more than just rice in them,can be a makeshift steamer if setup properly (and cook rice at the same time.) You can make rice porridge in it too Ive cooked rice in various ways, in pots microwaves but for a chinaman rice cookers get a texture that cant really be replicated for some reason.
