I simply load some poser nude models into my viewport and watch them for a while. Makes my viewport pretty sexy IMHO :p Edit: Powerpreview would need an update for Max 2017 changes in viewport settings interface. It still works, but is somewhat unsynced from the different reshuffled options introduced with Max 2017. -

If you are using a recent version of Max, 2016+EXT or 2017, you can use Animation Presets. http://help.autodesk.com/view/3DSMAX/2017/ENU/?guid=GUID-308209EF-063B-4117-975F-75B9CCD2BC25 Note: I had a long pause of about 15 seconds after applying the preset. I edited that out of the GIF to keep the file size down. -

Not quite the same issue, but... in max 2017, the script stops working after creating ref object LUT, the completion bar for target object LUT never moves (is always empty), and clicking "steal" again just generates the generic "can't do that" sound from windows.
