Layered Landscape Material Setup Part 1/2 Hi again. I'm now going to try and give a breakdown of the layered material used on the landscape. I'm going to have to do it in two halves otherwise this one post will end up being too big. As I mentioned on my Artstation page for this artwork, I originally went a little overboard…
Generally no, you probably won't find it common to be leaving an entire bare base body mesh (or extensive parts of it) under a set of clothing in game. If there is a base body for the project, there will likely be some sort of partitioning of the bare body mesh and sections of it are hidden/unattached from the character in…
This is awkwardly timely given the amazing cinematic they just released, but unfortunately I've been poking away at this for a while now and can't claim such excellent response time. A bomb-and-powder supply cart for when the orcs feel like fighting dirty, and I'd love to start getting some feedback on what is and isn't…
One nice little trick to examine composition is to blur the heck out of it, then you can focus on composition rather than getting lost in the details. Thanks a bunch for the replies everyone, really great info and very helpful! So, where do I pick up the 'Complete Guide to Anatomy with Tully' book then? :P Seriously though, thanks a lot for that very concise bit of info, some of it as you say may not be easy to access such as the cadavers, but I'll definitely explore…

Finally got an updated shot on my scene. The only placeholder parts are the roof pipes and the ceiling itself. Going to work more on post process/lighting/texturing after I figure out what to do with the ceiling (concept is crummy on that part). Unfortunately I am still working on this in June but oh well.
