but LoM? Aren´t you to young to die? I mean. You´re only 16! or 15½!... PS: cojax. I don´t have a beard either! I don´t have enough man in me to get one. (Insert homoerotic jokes here) :(
haven't tested it yet... but keep in mind, that the post effects are pixel based so a bigger resolution would need some work on the post effects, if you have like 16 pixel depth of field and you're rendering in the double resolution you'll need a 32 pixel dof
Ya Rick, I'm still dealing with Vertex lighting for interiors on City of Heroes, so all my big areas are broken up into 8' segments for the close LOD and 16' segments for draws past 100' or so. Past that you can't really tell that the lighting is changing.
Hell besides the driver's ed I had to take when I was 15 all I had to do was turn 16, take a written test, and have an eye exam. Sounds like you UK peeps have to jump through hoops to get your license.
When exporting a 32 bit displacement map from ZBrush it sometimes is all red; or all white. Compared to when I export a 16bit TIF which exports with the correct data. As I'm not getting all the information from the 16 bit TIF displacement map as a 32 bit displacement will provide.
I absolutely love your animations, along with the very original idea of the whips - it gives a very dynamic feel to his movement. I often come up with MOBA kits in my spare time, and I did one for your character - Ashytkin - The Ice Demon Primary: Assassin Secondary : Fighter Projected Meta: Assassin Top Lane, Full Damage…
You can set the texture samplers to shared. That way you can use more than 16. But 4 different sand materials seems like overkill. You seem to be more focused on the technical side which is fine but the scene is lacking in composition and story.
Could anyone give me hints as to why I can't get my textures to show up in 3ds max/xoliul shader properly? I can't find the updated "16 bit" setting and everything is being displayed with a very limited colour range.

Here's an update. I'm going to redo the blade panelling as I made 18 blades, which isn't divisible by 360 degrees, so I get uneven offsets. I'll change the geoemtry to 16 blades, and nudge the panels so that they all align together.
