THRONE ROOM - religious alien pope room - atomicFunkdog
I'm thinking of a hall which is filled with riches (pretty stones and minerals etc) as well as trophies such as dead aliens of other species. A red sun, day time yet the light is really dim on the planet's surface. -

Wow! It's an honour to even be recognised among the insane talent, but taking away a trophy is a nice little bonus, so big thanks to the people who voted, and to Polycount for putting on this shindig. Congrats to everyone, and especially so to brenley and Crimson, for their well deserved 1st and 2nd places. -

I guess that is true, any suggestions on things I can add to make it seem extremely huge? I'm thinking off adding an anchor attached to the rope, perhaps from a ship the giant has crushed and keeps as a trophy. -

Really like the progress and end result here. Really nice job on the whole environment. Textures reference all really great work. A polished portfolio piece. But never settle with a trophy, always want more, and go for that next "Ring". -

This is another rough idea I'm working on, an environment to 'Zbrush' and then take into the Unreal Tournament 3 Editor. A fancy trophy room where you find a gun hanging on the wall (a blunderbuss, I think) and a secret key hidden somewhere in the room... -

Was severely disappointed when after bothering and collecting all wall signs I got absolutely nothing. Developers, for the love of all, stop wasting my time! I repeat: achivements/trophies aren't replacement to in-game rewards. Give me a new dagger, a character skin, SOMETHING! -

It's just a different method of getting to the same end result. I use it a lot for trophies and it works well for things like shoulder pads. I wouldn't recommend it on high density meshes, though. Manipulating that many segments can get to be a pain. -

That's some pretty awesome work so far. The middle of the suit looks a little odd to me though, but I think it's just because the texture in the middle is still pretty unscratched. It'd be sick to see him with a setup zergling claws or tails as trophy's on a shoulder. Definitely going to watch this one.
