Hello! Maybe someone here has an idea how I can get around this issue (edit: possibly solved it by naming): I'd like to distribute some geometry using GN and repack the second UV channel of the generated geometry (input meshes have UV0 and UV1). When I convert the result to mesh (or export), UV0 and UV1 have been swapped.…

I'm using Maya and UE4. I need to swap out lots of different clothing items on a single character. I'm not sure the best way to tackle this problem in a way that I can have a huge variety of items without fighting the rig too much. All the tutorials I've found about this suggest using the character mesh and tweaking it…
An interlude to the interlude: I got Unreal Engine up and running in the new computer and found... not the latest version of the character project, but almost it. The initial imports are mostly to try and sync the colors I get in Blender with how they look in Unreal. UE is way too aggressive with the contrast and what's a…
I am not entirely sure I get your issue, but you can always create a 3d scene with copies of your main clothing mesh and assign each a unique material. Each unique material id will become a separate texture set with its own set of layers and maps inside Painter, and it will all be exported separately from Painter as well…

Also I'm a Blender user, so if possible try to explain it in a way so i can get my models from Blender right. Questions:…
