the circle in the middle looks like you baked everything in one piece. Move the parts away fro meach other, then bake and if its fine, then move them back together so you do not get problems with overlapping stuff Also did you use a cage, and was it big enough ? the black spots look like a too small cage that cut off…
Other than straightening/making MUCH more use out of your UV space, that gap that you've circled is simply due to your low-res mesh being a bit further out/larger than your high res mesh. Give your low-res mesh another look at how far it's faces/edges are from the high-res mesh underneath
I love this! The color palette is my absolute favorite and the impact is so beautiful! My only suggestion is that you might want to add some effect on 'Launch'. Right now the projectile is just kinda pop out. And I think that if you could make the rune circle dissipate (like expand and fade away?) on 'Launch' it would be…
Finally got the damn thing to work. I copied my gozMaya.mll to c:\<programs>/Autodesk/Maya2018/bin/plug-ins and the darn thing loaded. plugin information (i in circle in maya plugin manager): plug-in version: 2017 For api version: 20180000 size: 169 KB (172 KB on hdd) Export works both ways...was about to give up…

his tummy needs to be way rounder, dude. refer to all my prior posts about taking his belly button as a center point and just using an imaginary compass to make a circle using his belly button as a focus point. or the image of mcdonald's guy i posted. but good job, otherwise. and lol @ his penis. I can't believe you…
Man this is such a fucking cool looking gun EQ. Thanks for posting the textures too, lots to check out and learn. How come your wobbly normals on a couple of those circles (cylinders) don't look wobbly in the render? I seem to ALWAYS have wobblys in my normals when baking cylindrical objects and they always look like poo.…
You need to set the UpNode of the "Y LookAt Elbow" object in the LookAt Constraint Options rollout. On the leg the name of the Upnode is ThighController. By default the Z axis will try to point up. Notice in the GIF how in the No Upnode setup the Z axis twists to point up. In the Upnode setup I set the Y axis to point to…
They're part of factions vying for cosmic power. The last shot with them circling each other with the cut into the three-headed ouroboros puts this into symbolism that they also use in the logo. I wouldn't say you're reading too much into it. Hard to say about henchmen, despite each party having a leader who obviously is…
Yeah, capping the ends with triangles shouldn't cause any problems like you said, but you do have to add quite few support edges to maintain the circle-ness of the chamber openings. Go ahead and post an image, I think you'll get more solid feedback that way. Here's what I came up with in Blender. Triangles all over the…
