So the texture looks this overexposed even if you open it in Photoshop? Do you have "Gamma correction" enabled in the VP2.0 settings in Maya 2015? That would even make the Maya viewport background seem brighter as well though.
Because your diffuse is almost solid black. Replace it with a constant 0.5 or rgb 128 (solid neutral gray), and test. Also, try setting your dominate directional like to 1.5 or 5 brightness. And type ToggleHUD in the console.
Hello again everyone. This is another asset i am working on for my finals classes at my current university. All pieces were modeled in Maya 2015 and Materials were done in Substance Painter. Rendered in Unreal 4. Reference image: Asset: Thanks for any and all the feedback!! -Dorian Vann
updated installation to 2.1.5 from 2.1.0 - Windows 7, 1 TB Hard Drive, 16 GB Ram - Photoshop 2015 - Quixel menu comes up - when click on NDO or DDO The button gets highlighted but nothing else happens - no error codes pop up
Just heads up - finally Modo 10 can export creased edges. We checked it with Maya (2016) and Max 2015 - it works. Just check "save mesh smoothness" on export and export a subdivided object (shift-tab). https://monosnap.com/file/97nJUick3IyrXXqjWCd2bdaXTUik6T

Alberto Rdrgz> The Viewport 2.0 and the new ShaderFX in Maya 2014 LT and Maya 2015 gets you quite far compared to how it was before. Definately a good step in the right direction towards game like real time rendering.

Here is what I submitted for UbiGallery 2015 contest in Toronto and since I used quixel as part of my texturing workflow I figured I'd share some pics here as well :) Images from Unreal 4 Engine.
If there are any awesome news in that letter, then they're really well hidden. What are they? That they'll continue developing Cryengine? That they'll still be here in 2015? That 2014 was just great (at least for CryEngine)? That they're merging some team with some other team?
