Working on 8 bit images, values only go from 0-255, not sure why you'd need much more than that for a tablet application. -

This may sound funny but.. I've taped paper overtop of my bamboo tablet. To get that pencil on paper type feel. Looks dumb, but feels right -

I agree. A hardware section would be great. Then it can be broken into sub categories like Desktop, Laptop/Netbook, GPU, and Misc. (e.g. tablets, displays). -

have you tried a tablet first? honestly I dont like cintiqs, and I know a fair amount who dont. just sayin' is all :) -

I find alt+tab in and out sorts it it's probably windows fault now i think about it - not sure ive disabled the tablet service properly -

Concepting? Where should I start?
I want to starting drawing my own concepts down now on the computer I have a tablet and the programs but I was wondering if anyone could help me get started all help is greatly appreciated thnx
