I gave the blue spec a shot, at first i had a glowing blue color in the spec but that was just awful, I toned it down a bit though and I feel i've left it looking more like the reproduction model here instead of the real one. odium - You're observant. Yes, the spec map at the moment is just an altered version of the diffuse map. I'm currently messing around with the spec map and seeing how things look in game. Creating a specular map is something I never really focused on before, so this should be good practice. respawnrt - That is a good ref… -

The website looks fine, you just need more works, and more advanced stuff. Pump out some fine assets with a lot higher specs, (higher polycount mainly) proper baked normals, and everything around, spec gloss normal and good presentation and things will go along your way. As I see, all you need is pump a bunch new things out -

Eh the spec might be throwing off the diffuse a little. Still trying to get the hand of marmoset. I modeled them after my own hands, and made them so they would be easily rigged. I'll post another pick with less spec. No I didn't put any hair..not sure if I should add some cards or just paint it in. Any suggestions? -

@ Swarm22 - The metalness map tells the shader when an area is a metal. The shader then darkens the diffuse and increases the spec in that area. It also takes the painted information in the diffuse and makes that the specular control. That's all that is happening with the metalness map. It's important to note that… -

Thanks all! I decided to go with upping the polys a little and i re-baked normals and AO as well as fixing some unwrapping issues. Also messed around with the color and spec maps a lot, and added some more normal details that weren't on the high poly. Hope it's improved, and I would love more feedback as always :) Unreal… -

Well dont focus on games is a first thought. Focus on the art, game spec for animation is fairly bland, and varies so much from title to title. Best way to get started is to look at real game assets, get a copy of unreal tournament 2004 and check out the animations. I would focus on demoing character animation in general… -
