well in montreal, living isn't too expensive, you can have an apartment for 500-800$/month and with an average salary have 2-3k income. So it balances quite well. the hardest part is landing that 1st job, then, luck and hard work will help you keep it.

My ID ColorMap is not importing correctly. You can see from the 1st pic the whole model is blacked out except a couple of colors. The 2nd pic show how the model should look with the color map correctly loaded. Any ideas why this isn't working??
Yeah I got the occlusion but when exporting a fbx mesh out of max with a 2nd uv channel the occlusion is using the 1st channel. In tool bag 1 it uses the 2nd channel. I see with the cavity there is an option to use 0 or 1 set but it doesnt seem to switch.
this looks interesting but the price is way outta my league and I collect this kinda art book stuff. Im really regretting not getting the Bioshock on in print when it was availiable for 30 bucks....1st editions now on ebay for 700 bucks. atleast they released the pdf copy for free.
Links are better structured now for the kind of work I'll be creating. AK-47 is already in production thus why its the 1st Link, Also all my current Props are in the AK-47 Link for Image Size and viewing reference I'll be removing them when need be
alright i relooked the parts you mentioned. Here are some new pics although i want to get the whole arm right, im most concerned about the forearm and hand, since these will be used as the players arms in 1st person, so the upper arm is rarely visible.
Hi @WaYWO - Fixing up a few minor issues and getting another renderer set up for it. I'm aiming for Feb 1st, but could take less time/longer. I want to make sure everything works well, and have a couple of people test it before release.
