Nice, I like the concept. One design suggestion, consider where the user will grip the the front end of the weapon, without a stock, and with the lighter shorter barrel this weapon would have a lot of recoil. It could still be practical for the user to grip the mag well as they did with the full-size weapon, but… -

My first name's Bianca, seems like a popular weapon name in fantasy games, came across that more then once by now. It's funny then a character talks to is weapon like "let's kill him, Bianca!"... that made me laugh hard! While modern engines can handle a 9k weapon, you should still work to optimize things. I'd estimate that you could probably cut it down to 6k without losing any quality. The sight has several obvious major optimizations - you have close to 100 polygons on each side of the transparent part, most of which aren't contributing… -

Do you have ALL the bones in the rocks rig? They don't need weights, they just need to be present. I've had this issue in TF2. You need the full chain of bones: belt, spine, arm, weapon. If you just have belt and weapon bones, then it loses cordinates on it's way from belt to weapon and gets 'lost'. -
