Looking good so far :) I think this scene would really benefit from being extended a bit further. Not too much, mind, but enough so that you can't see the edges of the environment from the camera. Just something to give the impression that this is a small part of a larger world really. Keep up the good work! -

Ok, I guess I wasn't too clear, keep the icons, have the text in tooltips. Lots of programs do this with dockable toolbars, having 32x32 icons. Microsoft's own Visual Studio 2010 has a pretty nice UI, very modern feeling, very customizable. I don't know why they couldn't extend that to Windows? -

Hello again guys. Some progress on my OC. I really have trouble making the armors though. I wanted to use topology to build it, but keeps going wrong :( Also I tried IMM Curve for belts, but for some reason when I try to extend the belt - it makes new piece of belt, not connected to anything :/ -

Oookay, "Hey fella, how'r'u?" Here are another update, something went wrong with legs. Still need to do some texture/ligh/composition improvements. And if i had time to properly model/bake/texture this truck +_+. Anyway, we have an extended deadline, one day off, and final stretch at sunday. Good luck to everyone. -

no need for recompile, maxscript plugins allow to extend existing modifiers/materials and hide the original ui. So you program the ui in maxscript, and use the maxscript commands for that modifier to trigger the various actions. one can also edit the embedded "resources" (dialogs, strings...) of exes and dlls in windows… -

Hi Fonfa, Thank you for the tests. About the artefacts using the accurate mode : you need to check the "premultiply rgb" parameter. For dilation_2 I can extend the value to 32, are the harsh lines really a problem ? It would be really nice if you could compare the mips for each version, as it's what really matter Thanks…
