Depends on the clothing and accessories of the concept. I like to have a few objects (3-6) of about equal, large size where the seams get covered by clothes, jewelry or armor, because it makes my computer chug less.
Maybe, the problem with velvet is that it's the small threads in the fabric (the fabric? :P) is the ones having anistropic highlights. That's what the fuzzy settings in the cloth shader simulates. I'm assuming you've seen this? http://freesdk.crydev.net/display/SDKDOC2/Cloth+Shader
I worked on the satin/silk material for clothing. There isn't that much information on how to use the cloth material for ue4 and using translucent mode for the opacity doesn't appear to work with it. I also added some makeup (eyeshadow and eyeliner).
I wrote up a mini-tutorial that goes over baking a cloth sim to bones, in case you want to use a animated looping prop instead of expensive cloth sims. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66993
Skirts and thai summer clothes right now. I love wearing cotton dresses but some scum of the earth went and stole them from my clothes line D: If there is air con, then its skivvy's and jeans :D

So aside from enjoying what I do as mainly a pastime activity these days, might also add that the…
This is my first submission for the contest. I still have to work with the clothing and a couple of things. I uploaded the run animation with and without the clothing. I also uploaded my reference. Feel free to comment and critique. https://vimeo.com/251475977 https://vimeo.com/251475984
So I said I would sculpt the concept but make my own clothes. I want to keep the clothes but add accessories. So I came up with this. Tell me If I should add or take away something or even start over.
Still going...slowly :) . Started busting out some clothes fro her. leftover puffy vest enthusiasm. trying to understand cloth a bit better. Just started but not too happy with the legs yet so I will probably start again, a few times.
So I might not be able to make it; I'll keep trying, but I'm getting hung up on the cloth sim. I might just do it all in UE4 and have a static sketchfab model, but was really hoping to get an animated/cloth sim'd version in sketchfab.
