Hi all :D I beginner CG Artist So I'll start with some game model and my concepts. I love hand painting style and I want to learn 2D I NEED a constructive critique of my artwork!!! :icon60:
Looks pretty cool, but based on the CG it also appears to be marketed more toward kids. It had a very strong Disney vibe to it. I pray to God that voice chat has a mute option at release.
Nice work man! I'm no expert on dragonology. For what it's worth, it seems to me the spikes/protruding-scales on the back of the neck are way too orderly and sharp. So, they look very cg. Good luck.
The only way for it to be worth it is to go to either a super expensive recognized CG school or an inexpensive traditional art school. If you're going to spend 20k+ on a useless degree you might as well donate it to polycount.
Just in case you didn't check these; (1) 3ds max lighting by Nicholas Boughen (2) Digital lighting and rendering by Jeremy Birn Among many great sources for CG lighting, these are my favorite.
Oh also sign up at cg-cars.com and check out peoples work in the low poly and game forum. You will be able to see what some really good wires look for cars like this.
I guess AMD being the better CPU makers they could help advance the GPU. But i'm an Nvidia fan. Sounds like it could be good for gamers, but might not be so good for gamers/cg artists.
Glad to see I'm not the only one defecting from CGS! I love the concept work here for sure and the costume design is great! She already has so much character about her.
Yeah like that. And I#ve git a question: What about making a poll who in this forum has a job that has something in common with cg. I see more and more work for games here.
i agree with kolby too, cg models aren't bad but i don't think they can lead you on a job, also the lowpoly alien have a lot of things to improve like was said on it's thread
