I am not sure for certain but think it perhaps would still be 16 uv points for a video-card since tri-stripping wouldn't work across the center anyway probably. Because you would have to flip normal vectors to use same normal map pixels. if anyone knows better I am curious about right answer too.
I called them with 16 people confirmed, more or less. They also told me they CAN split checks. Though I would still bring cash unless you all plan to individually eat one pizza each.
I would throw more polys around the wheel. You have 10 sides right now...maybe 16 would be better? It would look good if you put some straps wrapped around the handles, just for grip.
Wow.. beautiful works, Vig. Also thanks for sharing awesome ref images. For the UE unit, AFAIK, 96 (UE)units = regular human height (6 ft). So it came down to 16 (UE) unit = 1 ft.
hahaha ace. i was in a bad mood at the time so i felt like posting something random. i really dont like the story but i like some of the imagery and language in it, but it can drone on a bit. p.s. 16 olololwtf
I got a good ways in over the past few days, brought my hdd home and hooked it up... and now all my progress is gone... wtf. It still says my level is 16, but nothing I unlocked is available.
Substance painter is currently ( 16-6-2015 at 13:12 +1 Berlin time) on sale for 40% off. is it worth it? I've checked the features and it looks like an excellent tool for texturing my characters and further utilizing PBR textures. any thoughts?
Hey Everyone! This is just an extended thread from "The King's Chair Part 1." Since I had too many images in one thread, I can only limit the amount of pics to 16 Anyway, hear are the remaining images UV Maps/Bump Maps
Thanks for that post Chiz; it was pretty insightful. :O Wish valve would tell us what heroes to avoid working on - they'd kind of done that before in teh past, when they removed luna from the workshop requirements page. (also, there's a Nexon slardar weapon in this patch. *facepalm*) Who wants stats? XD Here's a list of…
yes, your low poly shouldn't have nearly as much segments as your highpoly. That could be maybe a 16-32 sided cylinder for instance (but with much more on the lip of the cylinder, like 48-64 since its quite large in diameter)
