Somebody needs to slap the interface designers for what they did to this game. It's fun to play until you have to deal with anything that isn't shooting or talking.
My name is Divya. I am looking for work. Skills: Low Poly Modeling and Texturing, User interface in photoshop Programs: Blender, Photoshop, Unity 3D Contact:divyasrieluri9@gmail.com
I played around with this today... I expected a major overhaul, but geometry wise it's the old terrain system with a new (and buggy) interface. The way materials are handled is an improvement, though.
the mip_matteshadow node is probably what you are looking for. its not exposed to the interface by default, but you can create one from the Mel command line like this createNode mip_matteshadow
There are other companies that make touch interface devices. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_8?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=graphics+tablet&sprefix=graphics
Bugo thanks for the reply. I use these methods all ready. I was just hoping that I was missing this function somewhere in Maya's interface or someone had a mel script.
somewhat related: I really like that script idea, maybe I or someone else should try writing a free version and simplified version without a clunky interface.
