Or using the bridge tool. Also, it seems obvious, but don't connect everything. i.e. the door needs to be it's own piece, as well as the hood, etc. -

Why not use the Bridge function in Maya and Max? The new feature that allows you to send stuff between them seamlessly, doesn't it work? -

Just to note that SP 2.5 now supports proper layered(built up) opacity painting strokes, and the beginnings of a limited PS bridge. -
