Hey, your sculpt is quit blobby, and is missing a ton of details. Have you watched any tutorials on sculpting clothing? I've not sculpted clothes, so I can't give you any tips on workflow unfortunately.
More cloth. Made this in no time, but mixed MD and hand sculpting to get better results. This way I'm not spending a lot of time thinking about how the cloth folds, as I have a bunch of it on-screen for me to reference.
http://www.lolking.net/models/?champion=43&skin=0 Here's my first WIP, I got the base mesh for the clothes done. Not sure if I should add her hair next or work on the clothes details.
Improved cloth a little bit, and also updated some screenshots. It was quite problematic to fix cloth, without re-unwrapping. But I did as I could at this situation. Thanks one more time for great advice Ashervisalis! :-)
Now fill those draws with some clothes and texture this bad boy up. Have some clothing draping over the edge of the open draws and put something on top like a photo frame or flowers. It's a great start!
Update: Baked normals + new color schemes. I am thinking about removing this cloth wrap so i've done additional coloring without it. Thanks to you all for this thoughts aboout color and cloth thing :)
Love it, I think the rivets look great. It brings a bit of medieval style clothing but who knows, this sandman could've been anywhere and picked up clothes from anyone. Great stuff man keep it coming!
I have a bunch of cloth for a character and also some cloth props I need to retopo. Where are we with this in 2021? Is there an easier way these days other than manually? Does Blender have any good plugins for this? ZRemesher isnt doing the trick for me.
Do some research on drawing clothing, especially line drawing -- that's where you'll find the most information about how cloth folds happen and how to represent them realistically. Once you've got that, applying the theory to a mesh would be much easier.
Hey Guys! thanks for all the great responces, Ive been working on firxing the wet look of the cloth and will be posting soon but im in a small snag.. I need to retopo this and was wondering if anyone knows of any techniques, or proper ways to re-topolagize clothing
