Be sure to set your camera's FOV to somewhere around 90 to 120 (test to see whats' most like in game). I've also find it's handy to animate your camera on a track that goes through your level. Sit and watch it for a while. :P -

They still haven't released 2.5! Man, I thought they would be on like 4.0 or at least 3.0 by now.... Guess development has really slowed on that... Honestly, it isn't THAT bad. It sucks, but if you can learn Zbrush, you can learn blender :P -

It's all Photoshop. The octopus itself is in a file that's 5000x5000(16 2/3"x16 2/3") at 300 DPI. The canvas it's on at the moment in that screenshot is 17x11 so I actually have a good bit of resolution. I'm good up to ~24"x24" with this setup. -

I'll be the first to agree the slow motion stuff in 300 was great for absorbing the eye candy... Unfortunately, it was overdone. There's also a small section in this trailer where I'm certain he's at it again... Let's just hope he doesn't ruin this film by constantly doing it. -

Hey man! that works great!! Couldn't figure that out by myself, thanks! What about scale then? :3 It appears that the display value on the spinner: 1, 2, 3 corresponded into 100%, 200%, 300% value on the standard tti box..hmmmm.. -

If we end up doing a size limit, 400-500kb per image is definitely all that's needed (maybe 300-350kb). I don't think a single image on my folio is above 500kb and I've never heard a complaint. -

edit: the max polys was 400 i beleive i was under 300. For the outline we were given three shapes and told to pick one of the shapes and then make a crate heres the wire aaaand texture maps (normal) (diffuse) (spec) -

With this much advance, Roundtrip, I'm seeing around $300-$350 I'm waiting to hear back from some people on what their schedules and locations will be so I can finalize the flight times and can get the actual numbers... hmm
