Thats definitely a triangulation error (X shaped shading error). You had different triangulation in Painter, from the one you had in Unreal. So you should triangulate the mesh before bake stuff.
When you render an object with displacements, and there are errors, baking those errors into a lightmap or what have you after the object is rendered with the displacements. I don't know what is confusing about it, it's a logical question.
Yes.. we can't even get the spirit bear to work.. just error after error.. But I am sure it is possible, others have made druid sets and were able to load the models..
It happened to me before, once. It's probably due to an error in the hi-poly mesh. I decimated my hi-poly mesh a bit in Zbrush and it got rid of errors and that worked just fine after that.
omg i have this error to! i played HL2 and beat it months ago. i open steam like 5 months later, it updates and i get that error. hopefully someone has an answer
I select two edges and run polySelect -edgeRingPattern; and I get an error? // Error: Flag '-edgeRingPattern' expects 2 argument(s). What am I doing wrong, there is nothing in the command reference telling me how to use this command?
Photoshop noob here haha so when I installed the Expresso Texturing Tools one I keep getting the error below. Error while exporting "_D": no valid channel was specified for target with suffix "_D".
Here is another update. I backed the AO and fixed some of the errors that appear. There were a lot of errors! I'm still refining the AO but I feel it's starting to look good and wanted to share it. C & C welcome.
Max and maya sometimes just have errors baking things for no real reason, merging clears the history and max will treat it as a new object. AKA MAGIC FIX, that sometimes works when you have errors for no reason.
Oh my good Now all perfect, but when i make render appear this error message MSG 0.0 error: Material "19 - Default ( DirectX Shader )" not supported by the translator. Will render black. Any tips :)
