Thanks for comment but I hope that you know, that not every part of mesh element can be so easily flipped in UV map like on this tutorial - there are boxes, and circles, what about more complex mesh? Also, this guy didn't triangulated mesh before baking, which can case problems in engine. -

Hey all, still thinking up a theme for the room. I'm thinking of using astrology signs for items and textures in the room..any idea's on that would be great too :) The dome itself: Thinking of adding rough stonewalls and wooden support beams. Gonna experiment with plants growing up from that circle on the ground. -

nice, dude, just swooped up a copy, ill try and mess around with it today...please keep jammin the maya tools,... if you takin requests, a proper geopoly (make circle, or make even geo, rectangle to square), jsut like max would be a huge help. thanks for this though!!!! cheers -

Personally, the details from your sculpting are fine. Maybe tone down a little the areas I circled in red? It's more about tiny realist details from your materials that bothers me a little. I would go all the way stylised. Just my two cents though! Cheers! :) -

As show below, I created 5 layers for the bike seperately, because this enabled me to easily fill in different colors in future. After finishing the basic shape, I merge all the parts into one single prop. -

this is the last version i will be having this week - i added the circle texture on more metal parts, did some simple design on handle and also did the back part of the gun - also in simplier finish. now i am leaving for dungeons and dragons for the weekend and i will be working on the skin again on monday. -

Thank you for over whelming support and response guys! Yes, the normal looks pretty flat. The green channel is fine, maybe it was my scene and the lights were blowing it out. Here is just the normal on the lowpoly. I'm going to redo the base of the seat so it is not a boring circle, and redo the texture for this guy. -

Mop I think it is simply a matter of pressing the b key in the UV editor. It brings in a red circle brush behaving just like Maya paint tools. Funny how this was here for ages, way before soft sel was implemented for polygons! Might not be exactly what you are looking for but it's handy nonetheless... -

Also, I would say your main gears are not what im seeing in the reference... the inner circle needs to come in more giving those arms more length. And the arms seem to have mass that comes out from the middle down each arm. but still looking like a sexy tractor. ;) -

Thank you! I think i found the reference I needed! In fact the car is so polished that the specular spot of the sun is not really more bigger than a 1 cm wide circle. So yes, you are right ! It's totally too rough on my paint material. :p
