Have you guys integrated the adverts correctly this time around? Chrome here and they overlap some of the top elements haha! -I've never had a issue with polycount banner ad's because it's free service to the public, actually it's the only site whitelisted on my Adblock. Just making sure you squash bugs :D
What I like about that is that he isn't being a pompous arsehole, which I unfortunately see too much of when established artists decide to reach down and impart some adviceto us noobz. I also like that what he's saying is completely true :D and rings a bell with me also :)
thomas: Do you have an old version of the PSP? I noticed that my co-workers who bought the PSP when it first came out, have problems with the D-pad. But I bought mine just a month ago and they work fine. Diagonals seem to be the biggest issue for them... but mine are trouble free.
feeling good at the moment I just booked a 2 week trip in Bangkok, Hanoi, Singapore and Hong Kong for September. Then 2weeks in Shanghai in October. All for work so they get to pay for everything. Ive managed to wheedle in a few days extra free days here and there .. thats the bit that makes me happy :D
regular 3D environment, but honestly allot of things just don't make since without textures. People keep thinking that this is going to be 2.5-D its NOT. true it s inspired by something 2d which makes it hard to transfer some concepts to 3D, but i think i can make a 3D level that feels like sonic
You three are awesome. I'm at a loss for words. I think I understand the idea of the lighting but lets see if I actually grasp it. All the input is really appreciated. I'm not used to this (reasons: 1) new to polycount and 2) only 2 years of 3d experience) I'm going back to work right away =D
It's been a while since my last post. Here is a new spare time sculpt i did in zBrush. The design isn't based on a concept. Its free style out of my head. :D If i find some time, I'll be going to retopo this beast and make him a realtime model. Hope you like it. :)
I had the pleasure of working on this game, was good fun, and its great to see all the awesome feedback from the demo. I was the main artist on the demo level for 6 months , so feel free to give any thoughts. Im looking forward to release so i can post some of my work up. :D
the new start trek 2? seriously though - break it down: -mostly all hard-surface inorganic modelling -at least 3-4 shaders/textures (external metal, inner glass, inner purple glass & illuminated texture) -render in your choice of app (mental ray/ vray) -lens flare post in photoshop :D
Amazing invention! This is the kind of 3D printing where you can show off your true craftsmanship. Anyway, I wonder what type of plastic filament you can use for this. Does it support any of these types of filaments? http://www.3d2print.net/shop/filament/. Id like to try the Nylon filament here.
