EarthQuake: thank you for the tips. Tried the duplicating method, but -as you mentioned- it caused artifacts. Eventually I did give it thickness, but at first it was not enough. The problem still occurred. As soon as I gave it a bit more the shadow issue went away. Something to keep in mind for future projects :) .… -

I think these models are freaking amazing! I agree with allan-p, though, you should listen to him, he's very knowledgeable! Maybe most people wouldn't notice (like me) But if you think about, even if his shoulder's are like that from grabbing a shield all day long, then his pectorals should be more developed from maybe… -

oh yeah Hourences is a great resource, especially for telling you exactly what each function of the material expressions do! I can't really point you in the direction of a real good tutorial, but the best thing that helped me was just opening up some of the many packages in UT3 and looking how the guys at Epic did it. Monster is good when purchasing analog cables. They still aren't worth the dough you pay, but they are better than the cheapy cables. When it comes to digital signals though, it doesn't make a difference. If the signal makes it, then it should be good. All these makers try to suggest that gold plated terminals are the best… -

heh, i still think heroes is great. you lot who complain are just a bunch of spoiled brats with impossible expectations. the only thing that got me a bit miffed on this series, is the fight scene with future hiro, where he breaks into that building with peter. i also like the way the series blurs the lines of good and bad… -
