Almost there. The base vector illustration is completed. Now to polish up with some paint scheme/decals overlaid. Have to pay special attention to this part of the illustration as I don't want to infringe by reproducing real world logos, etc. They will all have to be alternate or modified versions.
I love it! I'd like to see some pixel artsy bilboards, corporate logos and other such signs here and there to spice thing up a little bit, but that'd requir some further (and heavy) optimization of your already tiny texture :D Great work anyway!
Very nice... it's really screaming "wallpaper!" to me :) (hint hint) I was convinced the lamp/shadow thing was no accident and you actually took notice of the lamps is the first resident evil movie... they used the same principle to have a shadow/light version of the umbrella logo on the wall.
I like yur logo... and the monsters are pretty ok, too ;) Seriously, I always liked the way everything was video content from your blog - shows it off well AND people can learn. Running video in the same place would be my only suggestion.
wow, great use of minimal texture and polys. The cheeks are reading a little too dark to me, but maybe you need to exaggerate them so they read small. slight wrinkles around armpits? Logo on chest? I _adore_ that car, whats the wire look like for it?
Jurassic Park was the shit. I've read a bunch of his other stuff, but JP has been a huge influence on me. I've contemplated getting the Jp logo tattooed onto my thigh, just like the toys. Sucks to see him go so young.
You should look into decals. They are used to add specific details like logos, blood, grunge, broken edges, anything that can break the tiling textures look.... Here is something I used decals... See if you can spot it. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/LNwbw
Good morning Polycount! Here are Some More WIPS of the Tire, hopeing to have her done today, just need to add the SRT logo to the rim and the air nozzle, merge the inner rim with the spokes and texture, please let me know what you think
Skeptic, until they show me something as good or better than our current gen of graphics I'm completley unconvinced. All their art looked bad (including that logo grossssssss), and I don't care if you can have trillions of points if it looks like poop. :)
just droppping by to say that your new portfolio looks really sweet! trying to put together a portfolio for myself atm, having a hard time coming up with a nice logo/header for the site. Liked yours design and you domain name, its easy to remember :)
