I think ikosan meant: http://firstkeeper.deviantart.com/ ...and box modeling is not a bad method. The only time it will be bad is when you want to sculpt your mesh and you have non quad / not so evenly spaced geometry, like you have now. I like your progress so far, keep it up :) -

haha too many speculation regarding what the cars are doing, they're actual drivers, but the sequences of the video are from the 1st level where the city is almost intact, on the next levels the city is more and more destroyed and the number of cars decreases each level and on the last ones there isn't any car moving…
