I'm regarding this release as a bug-fix release. R2 was buggy as hell, with constant crashes and whatnot. I know it's not that way for everyone. We have a few machines at work running zBrush, and they're fine for the most part. One of them though, mine of course, crashes regularly every ~3 minutes. It seems to come and go… -

Perhaps, but it is definitely good advice, especially for a beginner wanting fast results. Post your the reference from what you're working from first and foremost, most of us are lazy probably..anyway the best way to check for proportion is to use something on the model and measure it against something else. Right now that window hole looks super huge compared to everything else when it's supposed to be a lot… -

I know I'm in the minority here, but I can't imagine enjoying being a production artist of any kind. Years of doing graphic design showed me how much I dislike making someone else's art. I'd rather work a job I like and get to come home to do the art I want than be lashed to a desk all day making something someone else… -

yeah, this art-has-to-be-free thing is crazy from my perspective. that being said, most art "jobs" don't seem like art to me either. can i just slip my devil's advocate pee-pee in here and say that when i did production art for someone else's expression.. someone else's creative impulse..
