Howdy guys That time of year again. So who is going this year? and will we get a polycount (cola) drinking session going this year?. Hope to meet some more faces from the famous Green and black as well as some that ive met before. John.
Here is another try. I changed the light colors so there is a better contrast between warm and cold. I also added volumetric fog and fixed some minor issues, like the books in the background you mentioned.
The edge wear is absolutely amazing! It really gives the tank that cold metal feel. It also really shows the power of a PBR texture set up. Do you have any tips on adding edge wear like that?
yeah Im up for a beer! (coke that is..cola even..dont want to get TOO friendly just yet) I work at avalanche, just one station away from you ;) a lunch or whatever is fine too! :)
Yea, the lights on the cola machine would be great :) The green wall tiles came off a little clean as well I think there ;) Some damage painting would be nice I think. Looking great, keep it up!
Looks pretty good. Since a lot of the Viking Settlements were based along the North and Baltic sea, maybe you could add some snow, or make the weather seem more 'dull' (Give it a cold feel)?
Woo~~~I haven't see this amazing job yesterday! So cool for this uncanny light! Cold at the light parts and warm at the dark parts. Also like the pose and eye contact. Good job and good luck man!
Coll stuff man :) I do believe that the stone rock wall needs more of a dirt base, so that the stones looks like they'r in the dirt. Right now most of them looks like they'r floating.
just for Ashat (not really). man, this was pretty fast, about 2 1/2 hours. "They all admired her--from a distance. Cold and imperious, she was a crown jewel of the court; pale posterior flaunted before all."
ok so life got a little complicated. been fighting colds off and on for the last three weeks so haven't gotten around to uploading anything else. will be for sure by the end of the week, and a lot of it is going to be older stuff.
