All right so I'm making an old damaged building and I'm a bit stuck on making damage plaster that's in front of bricks here are my first attempts So I'm using trim curve and trim lasso @ Zbrush to make the cuts to the plaster but I feel like it's not the best way to do this , how would you guys approach this ? The only thing I really wish in these situations is that the media would not release the photo or name of the shooter. In the age of information we live in, that will never work out, but already they have his smug face plastered all over the news and his story is going to dominate the media for the next few days/weeks.… -

As R3D said though, you should definitely age the walls a bit and have some broken tiles in there exposing the material behind them.Using a different material on some of the walls too like just normal plaster walls, or half plaster, half tile would help break the monotonous colour… -

A problem that I have with the texture is that you don't really see any cement or plaster type material binding the stones/bricks together. You really aren't going to see a wall like that without a lot of whitish plaster in-between the bricks. here are some examples that might help you Also with that last example, it shows…
