It is probably already constrained or has the wrong type of controller assigned to it to accept a new constraint. If you go into the animation tab > Assign Controllers Rollout Click Position in the list and then click the Assign Controller button (above the list) Select "Position XYZ" which will set it back to the default…
I managed to get pas the first one, but I'm still having issues with constraining the lens, I've tried parent and point constraints and neither of the seem to be working.
sounds like your contraints are backwards. i would constrain the weapon to the hand, not the other way around. the weapon should never rotate unless the hand rotates.
http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66993 I suggest using Jim Jaggers Align Animated script to align and key the bones to the attachment constrained points.
miauu's Polyline allows you to create splines precisely with measurements and angles. Now precision spline modeilng is easy and faster. Create splines using: - Ortho mode - it constrains drawn lines to the horizontal or the vertical - Polar Mode - it constrain your cursor movement into predefined angles - Freehand mode -…
In case anyone is curious on this I found a way for this to somewhat work. You can link a foliage brush to a specific layer when you paint placement on the landscape. With that knowledge, you create a layer within the material that has no diffuse, normal, etc. information. It is just a named layer that a weight map can be…
They should also only use 30cm CRT screens on the bridge, right? Constraining the design because of a 30+ years old movie is what I'd personally call silly...
Not sure if this will help you out and you may know it already; you can constrain your verts to edges by holding C and middle mouse drag on the desired edge.
