I was wondering if anyone knows if I could record a video in my Unity scene in a high quality than the amount of pixels on my monitor?? Also, how do I know if my quicktime is H.264 or not?
Hi guys. My apologies if this is the wrong subforum, it's the only one I could find that seemed the most relevant. If anyone's familiar with Tom Shannon's TS Tools for importing Max objects/scenes into UE4, I'm basically trying to modify that to make it a little more "one click solutiony." With the TS Tools you have to…
Started with the lowpoly model.. i have done some tweaking on all of the parts. And it's now reduced from 1 437 264 polygons to 1616 polygons. Still need to work more on some of the parts though.
Managed to get better compression. I learned that H.264 seems to do the best job. Also 60 fps looks much crisper than 30 fps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WAtzyZ1H0g
In other news, my Drow shoulder replacement is progressing gradually... What sort of details or design should i add to the cloth? i got a bit of wiggle room in my polycount so far. 424 faces.
The submission format of VFX entry video requires QuickTime H.264. Does that means the video file has to be a .mov wrapper or other extensions like .mp4 and .avi with the required compression? .mp4 and .avi are fine as well :) -Nate
UVs are done - I was more tolerant of distortion so I could get the most out of a 64x64 tex. Also managed to scrape off 4 more tris, for a total of 324. I'm pretty satisfied with the texel size.
