Posing and starting to refine the anatomy. Man I LOVE the way the lower jaw protrudes in this comic. It's a nice visual cue for something abominable walking around in human skin. I think I'm capturing the look so far. It's hard tell with just the sculpt.
What does the steam do? What do the valves read? Are they diagnostic or essential to the firing of the weapon? What are the wires running into the scope supposed to be doing? These are the kinds of questions that should be evident through the design. Otherwise it reads like this comic:…
Hat is very cool and well done. I like stone modelling too, a bit stylistic so it fits the overall comic look. I don't like the material of katana's mask, though, it's too shiny to me, looks like covered in wet concrete.
Thanks Mr.Fisher84 I've had a few days off to catch up on life, gaming and comics. Work continues now on this model. I'm having material issues. If anyones interested on helping here's the thread. Thanks http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1601659
To be fair, CSP and the others are gonna have the same weakness. Krita's latest release, 4.0.1, is the one going in the scripting direction. It let's you use PyQT to do a lot of things like custom dockers, colour pickers, a comic book project manager etc.
Ok here's a rough new render with the PROPER spin and some tweaks, I'd like to get specific feedback on whether or not this version has the same comical effect as the original rolling punch version? Cheers, [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tirK_O2l3TM[/ame]
Cheers man, this helps a lot! Gonna keep the hard edges tho as I was going for a bit of a comic book-ish style, not that I was able to pull it off but at least I tried haha. Anyway, gonna get rid of the blobbyness for starters, thanks again!
i was going to post this, but at the end i forget it hehe. This is pretty nice to pose our characters and do cool renders. i think Celsys will sell it, and if you know apps like comic studio, it won't be so expensive. For me, this is like a figma toy :)
Ahhh ! Strangefate transmorphers ?? I played with those as a child (transformers), really its fun to see them as a game/movie franchise. Im not going to hold my breath for a decent scenario however but hey, this will make a great addition to my comic/cartoon collection
Looking for a 3d artist that can make 3d models that I can use in games and comics. The style of the model should be anime cel shaded like the picture below. We provide all the concepts. Message me with your rates and previous work if you are interested!
