Thanks guys! I'm working to add more color. I'm finding that it's kind of a balance between looking interesting and drowning out the forms. I'll post the latest iteration in a while, but for now I'm going to address DDuckworth's request. DDuckworth, I'm really new to this too, this is my second building so I can't claim to…
My off-the-cuff feedback: -The goal is to sell yourself. "jr environment artist"/"3D Environment/Prop Artist (Junior)" - Using "Jr." isn't selling yourself. You don't write "mediocre computer skills" you write "computer skills", eh? It's fine to know that you recognize your work to be at that level, but I feel that…

Im trying to do some detailed painting in Maya but when I use a small brush size I cant seem to get a steady stroke. Instead its more a series of circles. Does anyone know a way to increase the refresh rate for the brush in mudbox? I have stamp spacing unchecked.
I can't remember what the hell this guys name was, but I'm feeling that I need to expand my horizon (I.E. Drawing Women) and there was this one guy that was really good at drawing very shapely/cartoony women. I want to find this site, so I can learn a bit from him. Please?
Hi, thank you for taking the time to review the model. I used a different reference image, so the final result ended up matching that version more closely. Regarding the presentation, I kept the lighting and setup very simple because my main goal for this pass was to gather feedback rather than prepare it for posting. I…
To give you some more texture space to up the resolution* I would have deleted one side of the wheel and just copied the other side. * I would reduce the tire thread to 1/4 of its size and just tile the geometry over the texture. * I looks like you modeled and textured the underside of the concrete block ? I would have…
You can be appreciative and critical. Those who are pointing out Oniram's lack of professionalism aren't "siding" with the other side or trying to hide anything. He posted it to look for responses from the community and that's what he got. Anyone reading this thread should be able to learn a thing or two on how not to be…
