Neox isn't talking about a fullblown posing. He means that the character's side view has the arms and legs in a perfect vertical line, instead of slightly relaxed (like you did with the hands). Quick paintover.
thnks p442~ thanks danshewan. i was thinking the jamaican military is intact and hes part of it. i did not want him to look TOO scavanged, just as a more relaxed military type force. edit:update below
EQ have you tried putting on a DX/viewport shader and then dropping an edit normals mod on? It's like relax for normals and fixes a ton of hard surface bs. I am meaning to do a tut on this soon.
Relax, watch your favorite movie/listen to your favorite album, don't think about art or cool concepts, hang out with friends, try to have some fun and then just doodle, with no goal in mind.
Fuck. That looks awesome. Really nice work on, well, everything. Accessories, physique, clothes, hair. What're the specs on that for the low and high? Also, love the slightly relaxed pose you've got him in in the beauty render.
There was a script for max5 that normalized UVs. http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/normalize-uv-elements But it ain't working these days. I'd love a fix for this one, one that doesn't involve Relax, since that changes the UV shape.
i usually just define the seams carefully, then relax it all a bit and then straighten the edges that need straightening :P. pretty simple, especially if your using the chuggnuts uv tools (don't know if that's spelled correctly).
well , if you want rigging advice . lets see the rig? personaly i think the thighs are deforming great , if anything the shoulders need a little work when they are in the relaxed pose, in the extream pose they look great..
They're not going to expect you to instantly adjust to the project and start churning out assets. You'll have a little while to learn the nuances and requirements and get up to speed. Just relax and roll with whatever comes up.
