I worked on a comic book called 'Captain Fantastic and the wonderboys.' thank god it never made the light of day haha, the plot was ridiculous......and I got swindled :( Theres tons of environment freelance gigs out there that look kindly on character art experience :)
in addition to MiAlx's comments, I'd actually like to see the final plank waiting to whack him instead of it whizzing into view as it hits. I think seeing what's going to happen and waiting for the moment would give some nice comic tension/payoff
i did a art test for a alley way for cryptic studio once, it was for a more comic style one ref they gave me, i turned mine in on time, never heard back from them,i suck i guess, lol Chris
Like the hands but imo the feet are a little too round. As for reference take a look around for the resident evil comics, they are a good inspiration and somewhere between the romeros "blueskin" and Lucio Fulchi "sandpaperskin" zombies. hth, JT (cough - //refactory.free.fr/screen/re0/art_zombie.jpg:)
I think you've got a lot of development to do on characters, art style and general humour, but thats the way most webcomics start out. Theres plenty of potential here. Keep working on it and you could have a comic well worth bookmarking.

Recently finished a hand-painted comic style environment. It was rendered in UE 4. The assets can be view on Artstation ( https://www.artstation.com/artwork/PnXqy ) in Marmoset Viewer with the texture flats included in the scene. Come check it out, let me know what you think.
Comics? There might be a broader range of ideas and perspectives than we get in games, but there's also an order of magnitude more pandering bullshit. It seems kind of silly to be running this same no-win argument in two threads concurrently. Maybe we could get a merge or lock or something.
Hey again, my updates will probably get a little slower since i have got my finals coming up this week, but i will make time to work with these. A sculpt of Vision from Marvel Comics, tried to go really planar with this one, quite enjoyed it.
