Doing some more test with using materials to set the groups. something to watch out for is that running plugin initially will overwrite existing custom shelf if custom shelf is not named. Open up polyboost tool bar. Go to PolyDraw[]. At the top of the new menu select the radio button that says "Surface" under "Draw On:". Click the pick button and choose the mesh you want to retopologize. This essentially lets you draw on the surface of your object instead of the default which is the ground. Hope this helps.… -

Is there a UV seam there? There should be, with separate smoothing groups on each side of the 90 degree angle. That's what most commonly causes the problem. I usually set up a custom theme, dock, and a few other visual tweaks whenever I get a fresh OS. My only issue with a lot of the custom themes is that they usually have an issue with the programs we use, whether it's the font colors being too similar to the background or some of the buttons overlapping.
