That's showing the Autodesk exporter. Perhaps you didn't install the custom exporter correctly? Try the install steps here http://josbalcaen.com/scripts/max/batch-exportimport/ Also, which version of Max are you using?

I've heard of many situations where it's cheaper to fly to the USA and buy software/hardware, and take it home, than buy it or ship it to their own country. I think one of the examples with with Autodesk software prices in Europe.

Weird! Even if you delete 3dsmax.ini ? C: \Users\KikaSsS*\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsmax\2009 - 32bit\enu\3dsmax.ini I don't remember when you uninstall max if the Enu folder's is deleted or not ?
This bug is all over the internet, even on AMD forums, AMD has released two versions since the first crimson and none of it fixed the problem with Maya. Autodesk folks said in their forum that is up to AMD to fix this.
ShaderFX should do everything you want. In Max 2016 there's a new ShaderFX preset for Stingray PBR(be new Autodesk game engine), and Max 2015 ShaderFX has a Dota2 Surface shader preset as well.
Wow I think Max is the best software I have ever used, I may get forced to use blender soon though, the corporate level of autodesk care little for artists in my opinion.
I definitely want to try it but it's a bit expensive for me as a student who is still fairly new to sculpting in general. I got Mudbox in a Autodesk Student Suite so I've mainly been learning the basics with that.
