Not sure how I missed this until today :O This is really good stuff man, especially the character with the faceless helmet! ZacD: It seems dii modeled the head closer to the proportions of a skull, so it's a bit smaller vertically than it would be if it had muscle and skin on top. At least that's my assumption :)
topdown view of the ground. still a WIP gonna have to break up the ground texture with some sweet tricks. thinking about having a huge silhouette in the background like a colossus or something. a big statue that you wouldn't expect to come to life. but then it does. cause it's a trap. hence the skulls.....and no exit.
dude you always seem to be doing the same weird faces , eyes too small and too close to each other, face shape disproportional , i would surely recomend you studying more anatomy and look at skull pics and draw eyes, nose etc on them, helps alot.
Make sure you pan note to the fact that there is a skull motif on that axe blade http://mythicmktg.fileburst.com/war/us/home/images/conceptart/CncArt0907_37.jpg that piece of metal isnt just there to hold it together, its there to say that it belongs to an orc. Just keep that in mine when you sculpt that part of it. :)
I think you need to take a closer look at the shape of the head. The top of the head is really flat. Check out some pictures of human skulls and bald men - the top of the head is never flat like that. It almost looks like you ended the top of the end at the hairline in the reference picture.
Yeah what Panda said. First thing I noticed was that the horn needs to be distinguished from the body. Also, I feel like you are missing a little bit of the skull shape. The forehead area and under the ears is off a bit, but I can't figure out why right off.
I picked up Eldritch and The Walking Dead: 400 Days so far. Both are fantastic and I highly recommend them. I'm Holding out that Dark Souls, Skulls of the Shogun and Steam World Dig go on sale for a bit more. If not I'll pick those up on the last day.
I did a study on the skull and its muscles. It really cleared up a bunch of things although I still don't understand cheeks very much so any help on that subject is very appreciated. (John ate too many sweets so all his teeth fell out)
It's a separate mesh--I just appended a polysphere in Zbrush and pushed it around until I got something I liked. I didn't want to accidentally mess up the skull structure. I really don't have a clue how to sculpt hair but I plan to invest more time into it! :)
Hey man, sorry to say but i think your way off on this one. for one Brent spiner has a big ass nose, you gotta nail that stuff if you want to achieve an acurate likeness. your sculpt also seems to be lacking a skull, check your underlying structure.
