*sigh* *shakes head* *swigs beer* i've eaten peanut butter and jelly sandwiches since i was old enough to walk, and i've probably eaten enough of them to fill five billion dumpster trucks. i still eat them to this day, and they are absolutely delicious.
It's defineatly the PSU or mobo. My PSU fried out on a me back in June, and the same thing was happening (mobo light was still on). Due to that, it took more time to find. But it could also be the mobo. Just swap out that PSU and you should know right away.
If you're willing to break your texel density rule why bother setting it? However. Doubling and halving texture size doesn't interfere with the benefits of having a consistent texel density. Your texture still covers the same physical area and thus the textures can be swapped and shared freely across assets without…
not sure if im remembering this correctly, but wasn't there a polycount swap thing where someone bought a spider elite or something?? you'd pay 10 bucks, someone would mail it to you then you pass it on? i could actually use it as well as a few others i know. is this still a thing, did i dream this?
Core 2 Duo and above should work for 64 bit. If you have a regular Core Duo and you're on a budget, you can pick up a Core 2 Duo from ebay and swap it. Many systems support this upgrade, although you may still be stuck with 4 GB maximum RAM.
No, not really. The animation and the character can be tied to the player that plays that character, when playing with others when they see you it's another proper third person properly animated character. The netcode would allow the other players to see where the other players are, and what they are doing, ideally it also…
Very nice ! I only have one crit, it's about her feet. For now it looks like she could swap the left for the right... I think it's because the sole is too concave outside and not concave enough inside. Not sure if I explained it properly... Roughly her soles should look like this:
Its good to see you've got your layout set up. It should make for a smoother experience as you swap out placeholders for sexy finished pieces. I'm enjoying the SSSish glow on your candles, a lovely shader perhaps? There's not really anything to crit at the moment, so I look forward to more!
ya i actually agree there is too much sway. I think i was getting a little dead eye on it today. dont know why i felt compelled to finish it in a day. also good note on the feet. i know exactly the area you were talking about after looking at the curves.
Thanks Leluxart, replacing spec with metalness map now! And you're right, that doc showed exactly what my problem is. Musashidan, I have a spec and a gloss map. I used the Unreal's OneMinus node in the material editor to invert my gloss map. But per Leleuxart's suggestion, will be swapping out the specular.
