Thanks for the reply. I did those steps then I combined the mesh and weighted the correct pieces with the corresponding joints. Everything looked good so I exported using actorX and inside of UDK the whole mesh just follows one joint. I then made a root joint in maya and everything looked good again. Inside of UDK though…
i think the screens look great even if they are pretty cartoony, and I'm sure the game will be pretty fun to play too. it's nice to see that blizzard continues to not follow the bleeding edge of graphics and instead hopes to appeal to every consumer possible. too many devs following the hardware hype machine trying to push…
the origins of your curve and the object you want to follow it should be in the exact same location its easiest if you select your curve and press ctrl + a and apply location then place your object which you want to follow in your 0,0,0 origin of the scene also, make sure you dont have any funny transformations on either…
Update on Goblin Project I've drawn a few more concepts still haven't finalized a colour palette though. Iv'e tried to make the concepts follow 3 key things to make it seem more goblin like, wooden spikes, bones, and rope. I especially followed these 3 things for the weapon concepts For the chest designs I figured goblins…
Hey guys, my first post on this thread. Here is what im woking on right now. So far its my Airbus A320 Cockpit in HP. Realtime model with textures will follow soon. To addition, its a part of my bachelor thesis. Main focus there simulation in VR. So the VR model with all his functions will follow. Hope you will enjoy it.…
Combining AO will just be a blend set on multiply. FX maps are pretty complex beasts. So much so that entire second video is dedicated to creating the node to add the footprints. Make sure you watch the entire video, follow it closely, its quite easy to make mistakes particularly on the "code" side of things. If you feel…
I honestly would be suprised to see Pixologic to follow this trend. They have been the ones to not jump every bandwagon of licensing model. I think they gained quite a fan following thanks to their idea of owning their software against "renting" others software or having to purchase ever new iteration with just slight…
Thanks for the suggestions :} I like the idea of the arcade, along with the neon signs idea :] I should have both accomplished within the following week. I also plan to eventually get around to making more gear/cogs/pipe fixtures and assemblies as I progress, trying to tackle the "big" objects that kind of stand out…
If I didn't have work at 6am I would certainly stay up and work all night. But for now I got some drapes in there with AO and Normals as well as have an AO and Normalmap on the door (instead of the higher poly from the pic before. I'm about 95% done with the structural and then it's onto UV's and base textures for the…
Since Werewolf's don't exist, you can do whatever you want with them to make them look unique. However, if you're supposed to be following some kind of 'rule' (and yes, in the Fur-dom world, they actually do have guidelines for what are the basics of a Werewolf) then just google 'Female Werewolf' and you'll see almost all…
