So, I've been stuck on this model for a while now. It's from a class, but I just feel like I'm not making any progress so I'm looking for help. The class had the goal of taking a famous video game character and recreating them for the "next gen" era. I chose Samus, but wanted to give it sort of a Victorian steampunk twist.…
I plan on eventually getting he full armour done, but so far, I've gotten the helmet done. I won't be working on the rest of the suit until I'm done with the irl model of the helmet. Got a lot of work ahead. :)
It looks really good. I just keep imagining him without all the armour and he would have such a tiny head. Might look a bit better with the head scaled up some?
He's wearing medieval pajamas and the equivalent of a political banner (the coat), his helmet is there because his oppressors thought it'd be funny if he had his least important bit of armour with him.
Fantastic work Ravanna! Everything about Gimli is spot on, the hair, skin, armour, cloth, really great job. I'll certainly be keeping an eye out for your next thread, thanks for sharing
Hello, sorry for this question, but its better to be sure. For Character art, its necessary to create just one 2048 texture sheet right?? one that includes weapon, armour, skin ... Thanks! Yes.
New update. Armour panels are in and another color swap done. A couple more features need doing and we are done with the vehicle. Rider next, wait for rider pics in the next couple of days.
Looking great, it depends how close to the concept you want it, but I think the shoulder armour / pauldrons are oversized. The concept has a very 'fine' quality to it, like it's Hindi or south east Asian.
this is a good start Frosty. Id say ya need to sharpen it all up some though. All the scratchs and wear on the armour look far to blurred....makes it look like snow or soemthing . john
