[ QUOTE ] dude... eq go fix that grass! [/ QUOTE ] I agree. Looks way too pointy and clumped. Could have used some more shape and dynamic. But I guess if it has some in-game sway it probably won't look all that bad. Congrats all the same guys. -caseyjones
Great shit! Loving it, taking a bit of a break after first campaign run-through. Anyone on the count work on this bad boy? If so, kudos! The environments are amazing. I often get snagged by smokers, because I'm like, oohhh, pretty.. oh Crap! And my teammates call me retarded. :)
Thanks for the feedback, here are some screenshots for what is hard and soft, The red parts are hard while the blue parts are soft. I got some advice from my discord mates that maybe i could swap out the shoulder hard piece with something softer.
I like the shapes you have going on the modular pieces, I think you should break up the repitition by having like 2-4 versions of the wall pieces. Every other two pieces you could swap with a diffeent version or something like that...
My main crits would be for the metal blade. It looks like shiny stone at the moment. I'd swap out the textures there to something else. Also, I'd love to see the curved part smoother and sharper than the rest, making it look obviously ground down and sharpened.
Ok I've been dying to ask you, but dayum this NVil seems to be pumping out some quality swaag. Is that rendered in NVil too? Could you make a short video for the program, there seems to be very little on it. However if the results are anything like the program then I'm hooked!
Dude! You've got some great work out. Awesome job on the fur on the latest there, and the rest of the set looks really nice too. Also, I'm in love with that matcap you're using. It's so soft and almost marble. Did you make it yourself or snag it somewhere?
The two I posted are not realtime shaders, my programming skills are practically 0% so atm there's no way for me to create them.. but any shaders are cool, it would be nice to see what you guys use and or find useful so we can swap and learn.
Seems to be a lot of inter-species shagging going on here. Thats what... 3 cross breeds we've got now? That said, you concept is looking really nice, Ghostrider. I wish I could work on my damn model. Lousy busted Windows.
Bumbling around on the dole, no longer kidding myself that I was ever going to make a living playing in punk bands, swapped the guitar for the pen, and delved into this 3d nonsense, properly. Finding Q2PMP was the real boost. Happy Birthday and thanks... glad you`re still here. =]
