@ DerRazputin the dust particles are lit and yeah I totally agree, I was tweaking the post process D of F earlier, but must have overlooked the near transition. Thank you for the feedback i'll go back and changes :) . @ nickcomeau Thank you for the feedback it's greatly appreciated. The stone material is mostly a tiling…
It looks nice, but why are you modelling individual blades? The more common approach is to create clumps of grass, render them to a texture, and then populate the field. You can get very nice results with 4-6 triangles instead of the 520 with your current arrangement. See http://www.crydev.net/viewtopic.php?f=315&t=100319…
Here's a quicky for hand painted stones using offset in photoshop: 1. Start with a new layer and paint a couple of stone/slab shapes using a neutral colour in the centre of the canvas: 2. I'm working on a 512x512, so offset this layer by about half (256)in each direction (the value doesn't really matter in this case so…

They need to implement fix grid, it's really needed for level design. @Brian, If you have an account on the foundry forum, file a bug report and instead of a bug file it as a feature request. I asked for the same thing, David Box reply on…
The face needs some reworking. Looks more like maggie gyllenhaal than nova in the concept you posted. Looking at it from the side on the sculpt you originally posted it is far too flat. If you look at something like this you can see the planes of the face easier.…
Holy shit this is Awesome! Great news for the industry, and I can't wait to see what all the "little guys" in the industry do with this. Secondly, this is going to be the best looking Unearthly Challenge ever. Thirdly, it's going to be tons of fun checkin' this sucker out! *#(&$, have school today... P.S. here's the forums…

super cool - i really like the way you've finished it off with all the branding - really looks like taken straight from some futuristic race i'm not too keen on the way colour blend around elbow area (especially on the back) - i think diffuse should have a bit more distinctive break between cloth and that mechanical…
