Yeah Roma contains sulphur. I used some, loved the feel of it, but I think I scratched my face in the process, and ended up with red and messed up cheeks and nose for the Christmas break! Fun hehe
Lol, nice. Anyway, still looks fake to me, like student demo reel and I'll remain skeptical until I see a point of reference in one of these shots, not a self contained fake looking pipe thing.

Thanks so much for the advice. This will be a port folio piece. Would a 4K texture contain enough density once all these parts are UV-packed? I could always just go for 8K maps for the bake maps and output the final textures as 4K in Painter. Definitely easier with just one set too.
You don't even need to flood the weighting. You'd have a root bone which would contain everything that doesn't move individually and nothing else, they'd have 1 influence maximum, then for each other bone the corresponding object would be bound in the same fashion to it. No weighting necessary.
Gonna elaborate a little on this, because I see this advice often without the explanation why. The reason is that you lose the silhouette in the shadows, unless you got some rim-lighting going on. The same goes for white backgrounds, if you do not contain your highlights inside the perimeter of the silhouette.
AFAIK you'll have to re-export the character with the cloak, you can select multiple objects and export them, they'll show up as individual assets inside marmoset. I recently did this with a little scene containing a terrain mesh, a tree, 3 rocks and a bunch of grass planes.

sory for the late reply man, downloading it worked fine. it contains a lot of info for one to digest and i stumbled over some of the terminology, so i can't say too much about the content yet, but at first glance it all seems correct. and very nicely made, congrats!
