Hey all, Will be joining in the fun! Hopefully I will be able to ride it out to the end. Started a concept and collected a few pieces of inspiration work. Software: 3DSmax Unreal Engine 4 Photoshop Substance Designer Substance Painter Zbrush Xnormal
Start of a new project. Done a breakdown and gathered some reference images. I am not going to make this exactly 1:1, I want a bit of freedom :) Hope to start the blockout in CE3 tomorrow. Gonna try and blast through this project, hopefully will have updates every night. Scene Breakdown Reference Board
Fine I'll start working on this again. I did a pass on the roof supports, roof tiles, materials, and lighting dialing it in a bit closer to the movie. Time to start on the props. Here's a progress gif: And a current wip:
Just "straight out" painted using some custom brushes in Photoshop. The artist that painted that roof is top notch. That is why most of the "stylized" well renders you see posted have modeled roof tiles.
Hi Lemenus. Maybe these pics will help you. As you can see, the barrel is radially symmetrical. I have a cylinder choke installed in the muzzle, but the overall wall thickness is the same as a regular 590A1. The bottom side does have a flat section to make room for the slide.
Hello everyone! Glad to show you process of my newest scene made in unreal engine 4. Based on real pics refereneces, all textures made in subtance designer. I'm not 100% satisfied so I want to ask you all about some feedback, advices. Thanks!
That's one happy little pruning shears! You should put these up on GrabCAD, a great resource for people testing out CAD workflows since there's a variety of shapes and formats to test with. We use models from there to help us proof-test our CAD tessellation and cleanup systems.
I don't really have any major critiques except maybe the corner ribs on the roof of the second model look a little odd where they meet up to the center roof section. Great work all around!
Hey idk if you still on this platform but I was looking at you sci fi war room and was interest in using it! I would love to talk to you about this thanks!
