Hello , i am a beginner and i need feedback on lightning and texturing i did in this scene from http://www.3drender.com/challenges/index.htm . its lightning challenge #1 Fruit bowl . I did iterations to the best of my current artistic eye . Feedback will be appreciated . Here are the renders . Texturing done in substance…
This octopus has been done for the Beneath the Waves Challenge on the ArtStation. The frau Boo The Tired character =) Alice The bishop has been done for the battle me vs. my husband <3 Finally Haley. I've done her for the Wild West Challenge on the ArtStation
It's not more challenging because an enemy has more health and deals more damage. Yes you can fight any monsters, but there is zero incentive to do so. If you want a "challenge" you might as well fight without a weapon and just use fists.
that's cool, its really good to have these little challenges! I'm doing a bunch of face sculpts at the moment that aren't for anything but they challenge me and make me learn a bit more about faces. Plus it means I can fit it in during a busy week :)
Sage, thanks, there was a time restriction and working on completing my portfolio at the same time made it a bit more of a challenge :poly122: Just sent a message back to SHEPEIRO about this, good idea, it would be a mild little challenge that most people could sink their teeth into.
i THINK we can thank the mod challenge, and the upcomin 'unearthly challenge'? im happy too: i think i reaaly realllly love environment art! now i know that there are lots of env. artists here too! cheer to polycount =D
Hello guys, I would have put this out sooner if it wasn't for my accident. I wanted to do a Bruce Wayne character to challenge myself because the unique challenges it brought. (Hair, clothes, etc.) I did a lot more BvS stuff, all can be found here. Feedback is welcome. :)
So I stopped working on THU challenge because of the ILM challenge. I will share with you a few things I done for the contest. Please leave a comment. I would like to know what Polycount folk think about it. >>> https://www.artstation.com/artwork/QgYd3
Yeah, that is a challenge, the difficult part is not putting too much gas whilst cornering. Best to brake, use the momentum to get you around the corner then ease into full power. The Nascar challenges are difficult with a joypad, if they get any harder I'm going to need a wheel for sure.
Thank you, @hauntingwhispers! Okay, so along with working on the Feathers Hotel, I am also participating in the Artstation Challenge competition, where the challenge is our own interpretation of "The Journey". This is where I am up to as of yesterday, just waiting for today's work to rebuild in Unreal.
