1st and 3rd tutorials you linked are fine, the 2nd one not so good. Watch this and the rest that goes with it. http://www.veoh.com/videos/v4199970Rcyp2cfj It's also helpful to study the skeleton, muscles and artistic approach of building anatomy in planes, proportions etc.
1st! oh wait... Thanks for the heads up, i dig the cover makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. The buddy system always works, where my buddy? :( I will splatter the world with the link to VERTEX, fulll exposure!
Season 2 wasn't as good as the 1st. Too much focus on Kenny and Clem was too adult-like to be believable. They also took out any gameplay from the game and now it's just an interactive tv show with bad production values.
they got 2 way to achieve this in modeling, 1 is floating geometry which more easier to work second way is planing out your poly flow which take alot of poly and alot of time i prefer the 1st one

Here's some Katya/Kathryn stuff. Model by Markus Peekna, textures by me. 1st some paint overs exploring some color and outfit variations. Then some modview poses. and a older shot of the Zek Boss (model by Sean Binder)
that is what maya collapse edge do, it will collapse the 1st edge, then another. so if you want to achieve what the video does, you might need to manually do it yourself, either delete the edge then reconnect them or use target weld
Like the sword! But the helmet looks historically inaccurate to me. Spiky helmet like this one makes me think too much of 1st WW Prussian helmet spike. Good luck, TheMightyKnight http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=140143
I'm quite happy with the way this project is going and I was thinking about how far I've come since my 1st character model, thought it might be funny to make a quick visual timeline. Definitely not proud of the first few on here!
Aleon- Thanks for the advice mate, every little helps :) With those life studies i only used 2 layers, 1st with line art and the 2nd with block colours, then i merge them together and added in the details. I used photoshop.
