Hey Jeff thanks for the feedback. Well firstly let me say I'm a noob in environment art, I didn't make that since school, like, 4 years ago ^^. Wanted to be a character artist but it didn't go well so I gave a try at env art. Let's say it's my first scene in 4 years. I understand that pushing the work as far as we can is…
Why not just left-click the first one, read the post, left-click bell, left-click the next one, etc.? That's the same or less # of clicks. Added the OP reply notification to the wishlist.
check this out guys; Bungie's revenue down 45% https://old.reddit.com/r/destiny2/comments/17kv6ul/bungies_revenue_down_45_for_fiscal_year_2023_per/ As a former Destiny 2 player, I can see why lol Suits to devs: Try and squeeze every last penny from our customers or you're fired Devs: but that will make the game bad, and…
Hi @cturbo sorry for the slow response, unfortunately no- still have the same issues. Getting too close to any object gives me a similar effect (mine is green), and ive discovered that the issue i thought was due to transparency in ray tracing is actually on any model- regardless of any transparency settings. Effectively i…
Hi guys! I've been learning zbrush for a couple of weeks now, and I'm now taking the plunge to try and build something without a tutorial! So, naturally, I'm making a dragon. I'd love feedback as I go! Thanks for looking! I started off with Zspheres, which I think made an adaptive skin from. I've been moving and sculpting…
Maybe it's better to move the camera so the church is a bit off the centre, probably more on the left? Otherwise, compoisition seems too unbalanced and straightforward to me. And it might be a good idea to place camera, so fence is leading the eye to a church. Here is a quick collage to show what I mean: It adds some depth…
Well.. Artists will be doing more designing vs producing I think. So more art, less tech. Instead of spending days on a sculpt you spend a few hours. You will still be needing to author the textures(maybe less diffuses), make the low poly unwrap and what not manually. So there are still definitely production stuff left to…
thanks for your kind words fellas! my workflow: i make a blockout out of primitives and some subdivision modelling for more wierd shapes, then attach them to one object. out of those i detach all circular parts, and i start making a retopo on top of the blockout, including the circular parts in order to keep them nice and…
Hey Yourname, thanks for the advice on the skin tone, I've tried to apply it to this next update. I've reduced the saturation of the skin texture as it was just a bit too red :) and tried to add in some other colours into the face and body though I can probably push this further. Still feel I've got quite a bit left to do…
I would probably go with iPiSoft, or Brekel they are markerless so you don't need green screens or special suits although it does help wear tight clothing that shows off your joints. iPiSoft scans the background first and then ignores it, so you're left with a point cloud that is only you. Two kinects lets you fill in the…
