A question concerning the contest rules: Is it OK to use the copyrighted works in the presentation of the skin if it's not part of the skin itself? I made this presentation picture and wasn't sure whether I should repaint a similar background myself. -

Decided not to hand-paint my hand-painted category entry, really wanted to start learning substance painter. About half of the whole thing is now textured. There is some UV overlap causing issues on the metal panels on the hut, so I'll have to repaint that one. -

I was thinking about giving her a repaint but those UVs are godawful, good luck to anyone willing to skin her... I'll include a pic of the UVs and an OBJ file with the model next time I upload, got some TCs on her as well. EDIT: Uploaded! -

I don't have Zoey's mesh. I basically just extracted the diffuse textures and repainted it exactly how they had the uv's laid out. Then I'd check it in their model viewer (on the 3d model) or firing up the game and looking at it in there. -

Stunning work here as always guys and girls! Here's a piece I completed last year and decided to polish up (which effectively ended up being a complete repaint :D ). Rocks still need some love but it's getting there! -

Got to work a little more on this today... Haven't hand painted in a while and really feeling crappy. My brain seems to keep farting while working on this. But reshaped the head some and repainted a few things and started blocking out the wraps.
